Acylic Painting-Advanced Course

Experience:

A hands-on course for experienced painters who want to push their practice further and develop a stronger artistic voice.

Across four group painting classes, you’ll create four original artworks, each responding to a different artistic prompt. Rather than working from existing paintings, the course encourages you to develop your own ideas, experiment with different approaches, and make creative decisions with greater confidence.
 

Approach:

Work alongside professional artists who will guide and challenge you while giving you space to develop your own direction.Each prompt offers a starting point for exploration, allowing you to experiment with composition, colour, materials, technique, and subject matter. You’ll also be introduced to different painting mediums and approaches, with art history woven into the sessions to provide context and inspiration. Assignments and additional learning materials help you continue exploring between classes and deepen your practice beyond the studio.
 

Structure:

Across the four classes, you’ll create four original artworks based on four different art prompts. Each prompt is designed to encourage a different way of thinking and making, helping you move beyond familiar techniques and explore what feels natural to your own practice.
 

You’ll have the opportunity to experiment with different painting mediums, develop your ideas through the making process, and receive guidance from professional artists along the way. After completing the four classes, you’ll have a private online feedback session to review your work, discuss your artistic development, and receive personalised feedback on where to take your practice next.
